Sweet Magnolia House Cleaning – Terms of Service

1. Services Provided

Sweet Magnolia House Cleaning provides residential cleaning services, including maintenance cleaning, deep cleaning, move-in/move-out cleaning, approved add-on services, Airbnb cleaning, and construction cleaning. Service scope is defined at the time of booking.


Any services not listed in your booking confirmation are not included unless approved in writing before the service.

2. Pricing & Payments

  • Pricing is based on square footage, service type, and selected add-ons. 
  • All prices are provided before service and must be approved by the client.
  • Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • We accept approved electronic payment methods.
  • Unpaid balances may result in service suspension.

3. First-Time & Deep Cleaning Requirement

For first-time clients or homes with heavy buildup, a deep cleaning may be required before recurring maintenance service can begin. This ensures quality and consistency moving forward.

4. Add-On Services

Optional add-on services (such as inside cabinets, wall cleaning, doors, appliances, etc.) must be selected at booking or approved before service.
Add-ons require additional time and are priced separately. Prices on the booking page are estimated.

5. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

  • Provide safe access to the home at the scheduled time
  • Secure pets during service
  • Remove clutter and personal items from areas to be cleaned
  • Empty cabinets, drawers, and appliances if interior cleaning is requested
     

Excessive clutter, biohazards, pest infestations, or unsafe conditions may result in service refusal or additional charges.

6. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • We require at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or reschedules.
  • Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may result in a cancellation fee.
  • Same-day cancellations or lockouts may be charged up to 50% of the service cost.

7. Access, Lockouts & Alarms

Clients are responsible for ensuring access to the property.

  • If we cannot access the home, a lockout fee may apply.
  • Alarm codes must be provided in advance if applicable.

8. Satisfaction Guarantee

If you are not satisfied with your cleaning, please notify us within 24 hours of service completion.
We will address concerns related to the original scope of work.

This guarantee does not apply to:

  • Items not included in the booked service
  • Permanent stains or damage
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Results limited by surface condition or material

9. Damage & Liability

Sweet Magnolia House Cleaning is insured and takes great care in every home.

  • We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, normal wear, or improperly installed items.
  • We are not liable for damage to fragile, unsecured, or valuable items unless reported before service.
  • Any damage claims must be reported within 24 hours of service completion.

10. Breakage & Fragile Items

Clients are responsible for securing:

  • Fragile décor
  • Valuables
  • Heirlooms or specialty items
     

We are not responsible for damage to items not disclosed as fragile or improperly secured.

11. Health & Safety

We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service due to:

  • Unsafe working conditions
  • Biohazards
  • Aggressive animal 
  • Harassment or inappropriate behavior

12. Service Time Estimates

Estimated service times are approximate and may vary based on home condition, size, and scope. Time estimates are not guarantees.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for reasons including but not limited to safety, non-payment, or policy violations.
